Our Construction Trips typically consist of around 15-20 men. During the trip team members can expect to work usually 3-4 days constructing a new church in the assigned village. There will also be a time of evangelism and a church dedication service. Typical construction tasks includes mixing cement, laying block, building metal trusses and installing a tin roof. Construction trips are men only.
“Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.” Matthew 9:37-38
Our Medical Trips typically consist of around 35 people including a doctor, dentist, and a pharmacist. Team members will travel to a community and minister through medical and dental clinics as well as dispense basic medication which many of the people cannot afford. During this time there will also be church services and children’s church ministry.
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” 1 Peter 4:10
Our Ministry/Evangelism trips typically consist of around 20 people, mostly women but some men are needed for handling luggage and helping wherever needed. During the trip team members can expect to travel to one village per day and minister in that community all day through children’s ministry, evangelism, clothes/shoes giveaways, a church service, community feeding (optional), and some pastor training (useful materials, light training).
We stand on God’s word in Isaiah 55:11; “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.”
Our Veterinary Trips typically consist of around 8-10 men, one of whom is a vet. During the trip team members can expect to travel to remote communities vaccinating livestock, ministering mainly to the men who normally will not come to a typical church service.
God’s word in Romans 10:14-15 emphasizes the necessity of preaching and being sent to share the gospel, and veterinary trips can provide a practical avenue for building trust and creating opportunities to share the gospel, especially with men who typically will not come to church.
